inspiration library : wedding invitations

my sister's wedding is coming up in a few months and i started brainstorming ideas for her invitations. they will have to be fairly simple and sweet because of the short turnaround (she only has 3 months to plan!) but i am hoping to letterpress them.

i've been browsing through a wedding blogs that i love and have been stockpiling some ideas. these are a few that i adore!

emotional lithography

i started taking a lithography class at the manhattan graphics center last month and am loving every minute of it. well honestly loving and hating because it puts me through a roller coaster of emotions. someone in the studio told me "lithography is not for the faint of heart" and i really do believe it. well here are some images of my plates, prints, and process. many more to come!

Urban Outfitters just came out with a Print Shop! A community of artists from Society6 are teaming with Urban to get beautiful art pieces out into the world via laptops and ipods :)

I love love how they look and I think these would make such cools gifts!
